Spawned in Dawson City, this league was infamous for its adherence to traditional WWF-inspired tactics and theatrics. For three short years, it graced Toronto; this particular documentation is of Island Rumble II in 2017. Reel 1 includes Big Jody Mufferaw vs Beaver Fever’s fabled ‘Water Fight’ in Lake Ontario, while Reel 2 exposes the chaos of the ‘Rumble’ itself.

It was also a pleasure to act as a cinematographer on the digital documentary made in 2018. That project was directed by Amy Siegel for the MFA Program in Documentary Media at Toronto Metropolitan University.
